This document contains a concise overview of the SRI-WAAPP Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system, as well as the full set of M&E and data collection forms, and is designed for use by project practitioners. This version is current as of August 2015. SRI WAAPP Harvest Guidelines (10 pages, DOC)
These guidelines specify how to harvest SRI plots to accurately collect data for the SRI-WAAPP project, and include harvest evaluations for comparing SRI and conventional plots, as well as a table to compare SRI and conventional agronomic practices.
Baseline Study – Guidelines and Questionnaires (20 pages, DOC)
This document was distributed at the Cotonou workshop in June 2015, and is meant to detail the steps necessary for the baseline consultants to complete the post-hoc baseline data collection.

SRI Technical Manual – Version 2 – August 2014 (56 pages, PDF)
This document is a complete technical guide to understanding, planning and implementing SRI trials in West Africa, with advice on adaptation strategies and scaling-up. Version 2 was released in August 2014, at the regional Training of Trainers and Technical Workshop in Kpalimé, Togo.

This template can be used to help you develop locally adapted technical manuals for SRI in the target zones in your country. For each unique rice production system please fill out a separate template. Send completed templates to SRI-Rice and we will help you format them, save them as PDFs, and distribute them.
2-Page SRI Technical Handout (2 pages, PDF) – double-sided; single-sided
This is a simple technical handout covering basic SRI steps, for distribution to farmers and technicians, and can be mass-produced at a low cost. If 2-sided printing is available, this version can be printed on a single page of paper, and then folded in half. If 2-sided printing is not available, this version is designed to be printed on two separate pages.
